If you check it, you will get a Code Field for the each script. Place your tracking codes then into the fields:
When users now consent to one of the services, the script will be loaded through AJAX.
You need to make sure, that no other plugin, child theme or script is outputting the code on your website. Check this by viewing the source code of your website.
Hi GDPR Plugin, we have Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics on our site and looking to ensure we only deliver tags when users have opted in.
This article https://demos.welaunch.io/wordpress-gdpr/docs/faq/google-gdpr-integration/ mentioned that it is depreciated
“Deprecated after Version 1.5. All Services like Google Analytics etc. should be created inside our GDPR Services.”
Where can we find any documentation on GDPR Services, how to configure and what to expect?
We know from experience that when the tags are with-held until opt in this will have significant impact on the data in GA (eg users can navigate to various pages before opting in so landing page, time on site and other metrics will be impacted – All unavoidable if we want to follow GDPR closely, but useful to know so we can make the team aware of what to expect)
